5 Ways to get rid of Dandruff

Winter is an amazing season as we finally get rid of the sunny and sweaty weather. But, it is also the time when the air becomes dry and it is devoid of moisture, which causes dryness of the skin and scalp. During the winter season, the scalp gets dry and flaky, which makes a roof for dandruff to set in.
Here, are the 5 ways to get rid of dandruff easily.


1. Use Baking Soda

Baking soda can do wonders for your hair. It blocks the pores and clears any kind of buildup which is there on your hair. It is well known as a clarifying agent as simply cleans off our scalp. Take two spoons of baking soda in your hands and rub them gently onto your scalp.Then, leave it on for 3-4 minutes and then wash it off with mildly warm water. You can apply this once a week.


2. Use Garlic and Honey

Garlic is a great and easily available remedy to fight dandruff during winter.Mix 1 teaspoon of garlic paste with 1 tablespoon of honey and then massage it into your scalp with this mixture the wash it off with a cleanser after 25-30 minutes.


3. Use Apple Cider Vinegar

So mix apple cider vinegar with water in equal amount and then spray the mixture on your hair, do it after rinsing off your shampoo. Let it stay for 5minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.


4. Use Lemon

Lemon is wonderful for getting rid of dandruff. Take 2 tablespoons lemon juice and massage it into your scalp and rinse with water. After that stir 1 teaspoon lemon juice into 1 cup water and rinse your hair with it. You need to repeat this daily until your dandruff disappears.



5. Use Salt

Salt should be used before you shampoo your hair.Apply some salt to your dry scalp. Then give your hair massage. You’ll find that your dry and flaky skin is coming out and now your hair is ready for shampoo.
