Hair spa treatment At home Is Not Rocket science! Here’s Why.

Hair spa is the most effective hair care treatment.It is the most oldest  hair care procedure which is taken from the ancient time when Romans and Greeks used to take a shower in mineral water.

Most of the parlors advise hair spa for dry & damaged hair for which they charge Rs.1500 to Rs.2000.So in this article, I’ll tell you how to do hair spa at home  which will help  you save money as well as time.

step 1 : Massage your hair with oil

This is the first step for hair spa done at home.Massage your head with any hair nourishing oil for 15-20 minutes. You can use olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil or sesame oil. The best is to mix equal parts of all of them and use it. Massage softly with your fingertips. It increases blood circulation and helps increase hair growth.

step 2 : steam the hair

Take warm water and dip a towel in it squeeze it to remove excess water. Now warp that hot towel around your hair for 10 min.This helps to penetrate oil inside the scalp and nourishes the hair.

step 3 : washing with a mild shampoo

Now wash your hair with mild shampoo by using cold water or  lukewarm water.

  • Hot water bath causes dandruff, itchy and dry scalp, and weakens hair roots.

step 4 : conditioning

After shampoo applies conditioner on hair and leaves it 5 min then rinse it off

step 5 : hair mask

This is the last step of hair spa. You can use homemade hair spa cream (  mayonnaise mask, banana mask, hina mask etc…) or buy from the market like loreal, streax pro, matrix, oxy-glow etc….personally I apply Oxy-Glow .

Take 3-4 tsp spoon of oxy-glow spa cream then mix 1 teaspoon of hair serum to it.Mix them well and apply the mixture on whole hair. now steam hair with

Now steam hair with warm towel for 20 min.

  • In homemade mask steaming is not necessary .

Rinse it off with a mild shampoo.


Now you have learned how to do hair spa at home. Do it once every week or in 15 days and see the difference. You will definitely get the desired results very soon.
