Simple Buttery Choc Chip Cookie

These classic cookies are a go-to sweet treat that is easy to whip up and store well if they last. This is such an easy cookies. You don’t need special equipment, no creaming — a perfect cookie to do with kids.

Buttery Choc Chip Cookie


  • 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour(approx. 532ml)
  • ½ cup fine sugar(approx. 118ml)
  • ¾ cup butter at room temperature(approx. 177ml)
  • 50g chocolate chips


Step1: Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy using a whisk or electric mixer.

Step 2: Then add all-purpose flour into it until mixture resembles crumb texture. And add chocolate chips.

Step 3: Make a dough form through your hands and shape the dough into a long rectangular or any shape of your choice.

Step 4: Then take parchment paper (or cling film) and wrap the dough.

Step5: Freeze or refrigerate the dough about 30 minutes.

Step6: cut the dough into pieces (around 1cm thick).

Step7: Preheat the oven at 325F (162C), Bake for 20 minutes until light brown.
