If you have any Android device lying around and want to use it to send media content from your phone to TV, several apps can help.

1.Save Media

Ensure that the media you want to stream is saved in your device or SD Card or Pendrive (connected to your phone via OTG). And your Smart TV or DLNA is switched on.

 

 

 

2.Installing Bubble UPnP

Bubble UPnP for DLNA/Chromecast requires android version 4(lollipop) and above and a bit of configuration.

If using chromecast open right menu and select it under the Renderer option, then your device as a remote.

 

 

3.Streaming to your TV

For network media streamers, you’ll need to use the device’s interface to browse for your Android media server, identified by device name. Browse the content, select and play.
